What to Expect in a one to one training session

Every session is an invitation to connect deeply with yourself as you cultivate resilience, confidence, and strength.

In a one-to-one setting, we adapt the teachings of the path to meet your specific goals and challenges. Depending on your interests and needs, your session may include:

  • Martial Arts Training: Refine your kickboxing or karate techniques, improve your body mechanics, and gain practical self-protection skills.

  • Trauma-Resilience Practices: Learn somatic and mindfulness techniques to regulate your nervous system and build emotional resilience.

  • Inner World Guidance: Explore your inner landscape in a safe, supportive environment through movement, deep listening, and reflection.

Each session is designed to engage your mind, body, heart, and soul— a holistic approach that cultivates trauma resilience and inner strength.

After our call I’ll put together a simple outline based on your objectives to guide our initial training series

  • For new participants I recommend a series of six to eight weekly sessions.

  • We start with a discovery call, I’ll ask you questions about your needs and goals and offer reflections based on your response. From there we will decide on a general outline for training, with space to adapt it from session to session.

  • Yes! One-to-one sessions are a great way to deepen your practice. And current members are eligible to purchase one-time sessions (without committing to a series).

  • Yes! Friend/family/partner training sessions are a little bit different, but a fun opportunity to bond while building your strength. Contact using the form below to talk more about pricing and format.

All sessions are held at Gymsmithy in Columbia City during open gym hours.

To request a private gym it’s an additional $25/session

Six Week Series

Open to all new and prior participants.

Start your journey with a six-week intro series to learn the basics.

Free boxing gloves with your first series!

$125 / session ($115 / session until 2/28)

Level Up Sessions

Open to members, past students, and participants who have completed at least one six week series.

Each Level Up session provides a depth of feedback equivalent to 5 - 10 group classes.

Sessions include check-in, skill development, and five rounds of pad work with Jordan.

$115 / session ($95 for members)
